Kent Park

About this project

The City of London is beginning to create a new urban park in your neighbourhood called Kent Park. The park is located at 2715 Buroak Drive.

Improvements to this park include adding:

• pathways
• a playground
• seating areas
• lighting

The work also includes tree planting, ecological restoration, and landscaping of the site.

Construction for this project is expected to start in 2025. Please note that the schedule is subject to change based on various factors.

Accessibility

Proposed pathways are considered a ‘Recreational Trail’ under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, and would meet all technical requirements for accessibility including minimum width, maximum slope, and head clearance space. As part of this project, the City of London is inviting feedback from residents with various disabilities on their specific needs regarding:

• recreational trails
• outdoor play spaces
• rest areas along exterior path of travels
