About this project

The City will be reconstructing Dundas Street from Pottersburg Creek to Burdick Place, Spruce Street from Dundas Street to Pottersburg Creek, and Burdick Place from Dundas Street to Pottersburg Creek.

This project includes:

  • Watermain replacement
  • Water service replacement to property line
  • Sanitary sewer replacement
  • New storm sewer replacement
  • Partial replacement of existing private drain connections (PDCs)
  • Tree removals
  • Sidewalk replacement
  • Concrete curb replacement
  • New concrete curb and gutter on Spruce Street
  • New asphalt road surface
  • Teal crosswalks and stamped coloured concrete boulevard on Dundas Street
  • Dundas Street illumination upgrades

Construction is expected to start in spring 2022 and is anticipated to last until fall 2022 with some minor clean-up work in spring/summer of 2023.
