1.

What amenity or improvement would you like to see at Thames Park? Please select up to three options.

2.

Where would you like to see a new spray pad added? The following criteria should be taken into consideration when developing new spray pads:

• Should be near outdoor washrooms, sufficient parking, pathways and trails, sports fields, playgrounds, benches, shade and picnic tables.

• When needed, ensure construction in regulated floodplains is supported by appropriate studies (e.g., geotechnical investigation, hydraulic modeling) and regulatory agencies.

• Should be added in locations lacking nearby aquatics amenities.

• Should be constructed in locations with access to existing potable (drinking) water, storm sewers, sanitary lines, and electric power.

• Should focus on areas with families, especially those with young children.

Wortley on the Village Green has some constraints because it is protected by a Provincial Heritage Conservation Easement Agreement (HCEA), and the City cannot construct new features on this site without seeking approval from the Province of Ontario.
