About this project

The City will be reconstructing Chesterfield Avenue from Thompson Road to Shirl Street, and Westlake Street from Chesterfield Avenue to Gladstone Avenue.

This project includes:

  • Watermain replacement
  • Water service replacement to property line
  • Sanitary sewer replacement
  • Storm sewer replacement
  • New sidewalk surface on south side of Westlake Street
  • New sidewalk surface on west side of Chesterfield Avenue
  • Partial replacement of existing private drain connections (PDCs)
  • Tree removals
  • Concrete curb and gutter replacement
  • New asphalt road surface

Construction is expected to start in spring 2022 and is anticipated to last until fall 2022 with some minor clean-up work in spring/summer of 2023.

Surface reconstruction and tree assessment report maps are available upon request. Please contact the Project Manager.
