UP! is an Employee Resource Group at the City of London dedicated to raising the profile of women (all inclusive) and their allies. We organize events which celebrate women and bring visibility to the barriers women experience in the workplace through an intersectional lens.

Our activities include:

  • Days of Action
    • October 4: National day of Action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls
    • November 25: International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women
    • December 6: Anniversary of the Montreal Massacre/National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women
  • Member Meetings
  • Networking Events
  • Speaker Series
  • Providing advice to the City on women's issues
  • Challenging the Patriarchy
  • . . . and more!

If any of these initiatives sound interesting to you, or if you have some ideas of your own, contact Krista (karnold@london.ca, x5063) or UP@london.ca to join!
